3D Printing – Turning complexity into manufacturing

Is 3D Printing ready for demanding Aerospace applications? – Are highly stressed structural aircraft parts or jet engine solutions in high temperature environment produced with Additive Manufacturing Technology reality?

From the Rapid Prototyping world on the way to industrial production the demands in quality, reliability and materials have changed fundamentally.
Part design and structural optimization are one of the success factors to utilize the advantages of 3D Printing. Among other case studies an Airbus A320 part optimized with Altair OptiStruct and built on an EOS system will demonstrate manufacturing of highly complex components.

We will give you a technology update and share our experiences from existing industry applications.

Get first answers and an outlook were we expect 3D Printing in 2020.
